Florida in Full Bloom: A Bird & Wildlife Photography Experience Like No Other!

Whether you’re escaping winter’s chill from up north or already lucky enough to call Florida home, this immersive 4-day workshop is your golden ticket to experience spring in the wildest, most beautiful way possible.

Locals, listen up—even if you’ve explored Florida’s nature spots before, this workshop will have you seeing them through an entirely new lens. With expert guidance, private group access, and real-time instruction, you’ll gain the tools and inspiration to capture jaw-dropping images of the birds, wildlife, and wetland wonders that live right in your own backyard.

Springtime in South Florida = Nesting Season Magic
From rookery chaos to courtship rituals, the Everglades and nearby wildlife refuges are absolutely buzzing with activity. You’ll be shooting up close and personal with great egrets, wood storks, anhingas, roseate spoonbills, tricolored herons, and more—just feet from the action.

But it doesn’t stop there…
Look up for bald eagles, ospreys, and owls
Explore wetlands for limpkins, gallinules, snail kites, ibis, and whistling ducks
Spot alligators, turtles, snakes, frogs, and even the occasional bobcat or river otter!

Not Just a Tour—This is a Hands-On Learning Experience
This workshop is built around growth. With our proven model—INFORMATION ➡ PRACTICE ➡ FEEDBACK—you’ll get personalized coaching from professional instructors who want to see your photography soar. Whether you’re picking up your camera for the first time in a while or you’re looking to level up your wildlife work, you’ll find value, community, and challenge.

You’ll Learn:

  • How to anticipate behavior and capture decisive moments

  • Creative composition in active, unpredictable environments

  • Real-world techniques for lighting, exposure, focus, and storytelling

  • Artistic vision development with feedback that fuels growth

We make the most of changing light and weather, adapting the itinerary to ensure you walk away with extraordinary images and powerful new skills.
