What are some simple things you can do to immediately improve your photographs?
Try these tips — shoot a flash card full — try again — practice makes the difference!!
- SUBJECT – What is your subject and where do you place it in the picture space? – subject moves into the frame, give your subject breathing room
- LIGHTING – What will enhance your subject best? – preferably in early morning and late afternoon; rear-light or side-light your subject; diffused light enriches color, especially for close-ups
- BACKGROUNDS – Does the background add to or take away from the image? – avoid clutter; KISS (keep it simple silly)
- EDGES – Is anything too close to the edge or a tip cut off? – watch out for distracters
